| Serena
was working with Grace Bros, Sydney in the Promotions Dept.
when they enrolled her in voice training to become a store
announcer at the age of 17. Best & Less stores then approached
her to compere & organise their fashion parades all over
Sydney. Serena at 19 years then took a position with a Sydney
Dept. store as Fashion Coordinator, Store Announcer and Assistant
Advertising manager. |

| Whilst
Serena felt confident in what she was doing It was time for
another course and she enrolled with The June Dally - Watkins
School. On the night of the graduation Serena was asked to become
a teacher at the school in addition to work as a model and compere.
Serena started the following week, her first lesson teaching
makeup and skin care (which she had also trained in). Working
was exciting, compering & modelling regularly for David
Jones stores plus many other clients. In 1988 Serena opened
her own School of Deportment & Model Agency in Rockhampton,
Central Queensland. |

| In
that first year Serena produced and choreographed A Masquerade,
A gala Fashion Show for the Qld Spastic Welfare League and was
fortunate to work with the Stage Manager from the Sydney Opera
House who's knowledge of stage blocking and lighting proved
invaluable. |

| During Serena's
time there June Dally-Watkins, Peter Chadwick, Anthony Leigh
Dower, Richard de Chazal and many others have judged model competitions
for Serena and her students have been winning State titles since
1990. |
| Fashion parades
were a regular event in CQ & Serena produced five Rockhampton
Agricultural Show Parades to crowds in excess of 20 000 people
over a three day period using local and Brisbane models. |
| Designer Awards,
shopping centre parades were also regular events. In addition
Serena regularly worked for television station as a make-up
artist, and has continued to do so on the Sunshine Coast for
TV & photographic shoots. |

| Always
willing to keep up with the times and learn new skills Serena
undertook training in Colour & Style Analysis in Brisbane
in 1992 and soon became the top Image Consultant in Australia.

| Serena
has also appeared in over thirty television commercials. Serena
and hr family moved to Buderim in 1994 and after a stint with
Estee Lauder & Brisbane Agencies it was time to the Coast
a service of quality and professionalism with the launch in
1997 of Serena's Image. Serena has produced, choreographed and
compered Gala Events and fashion parades at Brisbane City Hall,
Gold Coast Performing Arts Centre, Sunshine Plaza, Stockland,
Underwater World, Noosa Lakes Resort, The Marriot, Brisbane
and Townsville Civic Theatre, Pilbeam Threatre - Rockhampton,
Twin Waters plus various Sydney department stores. |
